She does the work of ten people, is eternally patient, and believes in the power of love, kindness, and compassion for all people and animals. Here's Carolyn's amazing story below.
This is a letter to tell you about what my sister Carolyn Morgan on Kauai is doing to help the 44,000 homeless feral cats.
Carolyn took our mother, who was suffering from Alzheimer disease, to Lydgate Park beach in the early evening for a picnic. She noticed a group of cats in the bushes watching them eat their dinner. Carolyn fed them and that is what started her program to help homeless cats on the island of Kauai.
Carolyn has trapped, spayed and neutered 100's of cats and continues to feed and to medicate any sick kitties in 10 separate colonies on the east side of the island. She is unmarried and spends three days a week giving care to a ninety four year old woman. The rest of the time she is very busy shopping for sales on cat food, feeding and caring for the cats. She has two cat sanctuaries at her home that house 60 neutered cats. Every night she drives to six different areas along the beaches, hotel parking lots, behind trash dumpsters, Safeway and other grocery parking lots to feed and care for them. These are feral cats and cannot be touched, but Carolyn has a wonderful way to communicate with them and a keen sense to know when they need medical care.
Carolyn has a passion to help these cats who are left to forage on their own and many die on the busy highways looking for food. She has no financial help and has done it with her own money. There is so much to be done and Carolyn needs lots of help with anyone who can financially donate to her cause.

We take in cats & kittens that other organizations want to put to sleep. Many of our little kitties have been saved from death's door by Carolyn's tireless efforts and constant care. Carolyn Morgan, our founder, does all this with her own money. Carolyn's favorite motto is:"Love Never Fails"

Carolyn Morgan, Kauai Cats Founder
Carolyn is always optimistic and very inspiring! She grew up on our gorgeous green island of Kauai, and also lived for several years on Maui. She uplifts everyone around her, and always spreading love, good will, and the Aloha Spirit. Even though she works 72 hours a week at her care giving job, spends 4-8 hours everyday caring for the cats in her sanctuary, and buys all the litter, food, supplies with her own money. She continuously transports injured cats to the vet herself and pays for their surgeries out of her own pocket. She is always so kind and cheerful, and will drop everything to rescue an animal in need.
